The Chanel SS’15 show offered a refined version of opulence loaded with gold Chanel shoes, my favorite thing after pockets on dresses. I still remember seeing the gold Chanel brogues on the runway and thinking how wonderful it would be if they released the same ones for sale. At first when I found out the same shoes were being sold I hesitated to buy them, a mistake on my part because they sold out in a matter of days. Pictures of the same gold shoes haunted me on a daily basis on social media until I took matters into my hands and started the search again. The suburbs answered my prayers and somewhere in Virginia they had these shoes in my size. These Chanel babies with a pair of jeans are perfect for a city escape (I should get to planning one soon) or with a summer dress for the perfect Mediterranean getaway (oh how I wish I was planning one). With the shoes’ luxe gold and suede combo, I’m sure going to make these my go-to shoes this summer. I have come up with so many ways to wear these Chanel shoes that I’m pretty sure getting them was a wise decision. Thank you, Karl, I love the unexpected twist on brogues or should I say oxfords?
