Happy October 1st!!! Why so excited you ask? I’ve got a birthday coming up and let’s be honest, it really starts to feel like fall in October (clearly very biased). I don’t have any idea what I want to do for my birthday, but I do know I need to shop for an outfit. Get an outfit first then plan an event later, don’t you just love that backward type of thinking? As I scoured the web for something special for my big day, I instead found this Stella McCartney bomber at an insanely unbelievable discount at Barneys. Have you ever landed a deal so great that it made you wonder if the deal was too good to be true? Yes, after snugging the one and only jacket left on final sale, I feared something would be wrong. Thank the lawds, everything was perfect.
I mean, Stella McCartney is the go-to name for sophisticated, modern and feminine style, so scoring a piece of hers that transcends the seasons is major. I had eyed this print for a few months, and it took everything in me to hold off and to sadly watch everything sell out. To later find this gem again on sale felt like I hit the jackpot. Sure, The Outnet carries some Stella McCartney pieces on sale, but I never get this lucky. This bomber jacket has an amazing bold print, and that is the reason it is the first bomber jacket I have bought. If you follow me on Snapchat (Liz_Lizo) you’ve probably seen me wear it several times even on days that were not that chilly, yes weather-inappropriate dressing is so fashun. I mostly style this bomber with parred-down pieces, like I did on this day with black culottes, black camisole top, black shoes, and bag.
Glad I finally joined team bomber jacket, better late than never, I’m starting to get into them too. Thank you for visiting and let me know what other bomber jackets I should check out.
