So what’s my new hot statement piece I will be overusing to shake up my upcoming fall looks? These Dior boots with a Plexi heel obviously. I was a bit hesitant to get them at first, but once I tried them on the first time I couldn’t get them out of my head, and looking at he Christian Dior lookbook made the craving even stronger. So let’s talk comfort after all these are heeled booties. I always try to be upfront about shoe comfort, because I walk everywhere, and I should know from practice if shoes are a yay or nay in the comfort department. I specifically got these Dior boots because of how comfortable they are, bravo Dior for really taking women’s comfort into account. I mean, instead of trying to hail a cab for a solid 10 minutes, I can now walk to my brunch location in 5 minutes and not be in sneakers? KindaUnBelieveable! But so true. The other strong case to make for these boots was their color, their hue of brown was actually nude on me. I had finally found a nude bootie. Oh, Man, I really like (love) Raf Simons. Oh, if you don’t really get this love I have for Raf (notice first name basis lol) go watch ‘Dior and I,’ it’s a riveting documentary about his first season at Christian Dior.
I can’t help but feel blah talking about the rest of this outfit, but the rest of the look was pared down, just jeans and a CDG play shirt. These tops are God-sent, I literally own 5 of these CDG play tops thanks to varies online sales. A stripped shirt can help conceal your laziest of days, say you’re too tired to dress up for dinner, throw on a CDG play shirt and pronto your dinner companions will think you dressed up for them. If you are my friend who I’ve met for dinner in a CDG play shirt, I’m sorry, I’m not sorry.
I’m going on a little getaway from my birthday, which is on Friday, but stay tuned we shot some new looks that we’ll be sharing soon. Thanks for visiting and have a lovely week.
