We made a much needed pit stop at Jones Beach in Montauk after hours of driving. I will admit I really wished I had brought along my bathing suit, but just getting my feet into the chilly water was good enough, I cowardly prefer heated pools. Striped dresses always get me and this Tibi one got me good and hard with descriptions such as ‘linen’ ‘mesh’ ‘loose’, I was mush, had to buy it.

I am back in DC and still longing for those relaxing Southampton days and nights, but it’s all good as I’m busy working on my next exciting chapter starting September, stay tuned!
