I was particularly enamored by the brightly colored pieces from Céline’s spring 2014 collection. All the arty-primary-colored graphics were so captivating and inviting in an 80s kind of way, I had to have it all. Back to reality, where I can’t quite buy an entire wardrobe from Céline, but instead have to make difficult buying choices. I settled for the colorful, accordion-pleated, whimsical, asymmetrical hem skirt, it seemed so fun and easy, but of course it was sold out, such is my luck in fashion. So I decided to go for the stripped sister skirt, not as colorful, but definitely more versatile. As you walk, the skirt has this lovely whimsical movement to it. When I have it on, let me tell you, I sashay around like it was tailor made for me, I call that the Céline effect.
