This look was a full immersion into all my current staples, all at once. I might never have realized that a gold full skirt was a closet staple if I hadn’t come across this one by Tibi. Wear this skirt for instant glam, even paired with a simple white tee, no makeup, no heels you’ll still look like you made a fantastic effort. I have always been a dress over separates kind of person, I like easy dressing, but the versatility of recreating looks with different separates has won me over. Skirts, pants and shorts are now very welcome to my closet.

Shooting blog looks during golden hour (usually before sunset) is quite a task lately, because of how fast the sun goes down. It’s like one minute you look up, and the sun is there, minutes later it’s about to disappear behind the New York skyline. We were determined to blog this look, so we made a dash for it westward. Us running to the edge of the island to get better lighting, before the sun’s demise, made for good entertainment for all there to witness.

Is anyone else shopping for spring and summer pieces already? It’s getting real for me guys, wearing sandals is about to be an option. And those already in sandals, count your blessings lovies.
