Good Afternoon, everyone!

Spring is upon us and that means a major change in wardrobe: time to ditch those coats, sweaters, and boots and welcome in the skirts, sandals, and sunnies!

I’ve taken the liberty of picking my top 5 spring closet essentials:

Project Social T spring essentials

1) Basic white tee (Project Social T)

Every girl needs a basic white tee, because, let’s face it, it goes with everything. Dress it up with a blazer and skinny jeans, or keep it casual with some culottes and sunnies.

2) Distressed jeans (Forever 21)

You cannot go wrong with a pair of distressed jeans. Whether you want to keep the distress to a minimum, or you’re going for the “my-jeans-were-shredded-by-an-animal” look, you will not regret investing in this closet staple.

3) Cute sneakers (Dior)

Living in Manhattan means a LOT of walking, which means that my shoe game is more comfort than glam. However, one must not sacrifice fashion when purchasing comfortable shoes. A cute pair of sneakers is just what you need in life this spring.

4) Petite shoulder bag (Valentino)

It gets pretty warm in the spring, and no one likes lugging around a bulky purse in the heat! Downsize and invest in a petite shoulder bag that will fit all your necessities (lipstick, wallet/cardholder, iPhone, etc.), but will not weigh you down.

5) Patterned dress (Markus Lupfer)

The most comfortable thing to wear in the heat? A dress. But, in keeping with the spring theme, we need something vibrant and lively. So, a patterned dress is the way to go! Think floral, paisley, striped, or even polka dot patterns for this spring!

I hope this helped those of you who are currently converting your wardrobes! I’ve included a few alternative suggestions on where to purchase these spring closet essentials below. Now, go out and enjoy the amazing weather, you beautiful flower children!
