When it comes to a designer who doesn’t march to anyone’s beat, Jonathan Anderson, creative designer of J.W. Anderson comes in first place, unchallenged. It’s hard not to notice this Irish designer’s distinctive and innovative designs, it makes you want to be that unique J.W. Anderson girl, unique and stylish. Ok so all that is all nicely said, but what tops it is finding one of his creations on sale, the last one and in your size. From there on you preach the gospel, because indeed his creations are one-of-a-kind spectacular. This dress I picked up on sale from the Saks sale was the only thing I purchased from a pile of more than ten pieces with prices generously reduced. The dress is really paper light with the most delicate, great stitched green pattern. The little green stitching pattern was the reason we shot this dress in a small little garden, I mean duh seemed appropriate, no?

My search for a white summer dress is definitely over because this dress ticks more than a few boxes of what I was looking for in a dress. Light? Yes, Versatile? Yes, unique? Yes, transitional? yes. Anyways, you get my point. By the way, I just learned that the Creative Director Jonathan Anderson was picked to redesign and reinvent the Diet Coke bottle. On to something here, just saying guys, just saying.

Thanks for visiting and have a fantastic weekend!

xx,
