Have you ever just had one of those days where you’ve really just loved yourself? I say this because, as a woman, it’s easy to be self-critical just about everything, like hello, why are my ‘biceps’ so saggy today? You get the point. It’s quite easy for me as a woman to criticize myself even at 8 am first thing in the AM after prayer and meditation. I do oft envy those super-confident women who flaunt what they have like they are Naomi Campbell, have you heard of the ‘Naomi Campbell walk?’ lol. With years of trying to love myself, I have picked up cues on how some women come to accomplish this so effortlessly. Believe it or not, it’s mostly about picking the right clothes for your body. So on one night, as one with a shopping problem does, I was perusing Net-a-porter and read that flared jeans are having a moment. I mean aren’t they the voice when it comes to trends? Flared jeans have a way of holding everything together in the right places and getting you even closer to that ‘Naomi Campbell walk,’ see what I mean I woke up feeling good about myself. Ok, I don’t mean to be all melodramatic about these jeans, but I’m really appreciative of clothes that I think make me look good.

The last time I spent more than $100 on jeans was almost seven years, in my early irrational 20s, I have since settled on Forever 21 and Zara when it comes to jeans. That was until I recently re-discovered 7 for all Mankind jeans that are cut perfectly for my body type. The braiding detail on these jeans are absolute perfection, enough for me not to miss my belt. And can we talk about not needing a belt for my jeans, belts have been the bane of my existence when it comes to wearing jeans. These 7 for all Mankind flared jeans are a double whammy; I get to feel super confident and trendy all at the same time. Kind of contrary to the skinny jeans or, omg, the super skinny leather pants. I wore these pants for the first time a few days ago and told Maya, we need to blog about these jeans. They are legit ego-boosters, so here you go, not the best-styled look, but man do I love my bootay in these babies. Paired the jeans with a simple blue tee, Valentino wedges, and a Dior bag.

We’re in the midst of New York Fashion Week, and I honestly can’t believe we managed time for this post. Ok, not going to lie I can actually believe it because we missed a few shows to get some work done. Follow Liz_Lizo on Snapchat for more timely posts. Thank for visiting and have an amazing day!
