When my friend recommended this little gem of a place, I thought there is no way I was going to dine there soon if I would have to wait for a table in the cold. After reading a few rave reviews, I thought I’d brave it and (gasp) wait for a table (they don’t take reservations). So wait we did, about 20 minutes for two people, not so bad if your ultimate goal is mouth-watering French food.

Cozy and intimate are perfect words to describe the space. Most important is the food and Buvette, my friend and the reviewers did not disappoint. Against our new year’s resolutions to eat greens and gluten-free food, aren’t new year’s resolutions made to be broken, we ordered the pictured waffle sandwich and scrambled eggs with prosciutto. We cleaned out our plates, short of licking them clean, it was all delicious. A must try for brunch enthusiast!
