I am enjoying the calm before the storm that is New York Fashion Week, always making my escape to DC every chance I get, it’s not the beach, but it works. I am excited to put my scarves to use as turbans this summer, turbans are a great alternative on a bad-hair day. Growing up I remember my grandmother wearing the most beautiful, colorful head scarves and turbans almost everyday, she still does and owns a great collection, totally a Kenyan thing.
