This Celine knit dress was a must-have for me this winter, especially since I moved to a city with polar vortex type weather, do I exaggerate much? This dress is the equivalent of a heavy chunky sweater, then sexed up with a daring slit. I tend to shy away from sweater dresses, because they can easily make you look frumpy, but I took a chance with this knit dress, and I’m glad I did. Besides when I saw Rihanna rock it with matching pants (here), it was anything but frumpy, I had to have it. The dress is warm enough to wear in the winter outside without a coat. Ok, maybe not for more than five minutes out without a coat.
New booties alert: Chloe Susanna booties in suede black with gold hardware. If you’ve known me for longer than a month then you’ll know, there is nothing I love more than a loud shoe. Always wanted a pair of suede ones, and this sale season made it possible for me to score these half off, merci Barneys. The hunt for my previous red leather ones continues, Chloe doesn’t seem to make them in red anymore, so I set up a red-Chloe-boots alert on eBay. Fingers-crossed.
