Every once in a blue moon, a street style fashion brand comes into the spotlight and wins everyone’s heart, that’s what Off-White has done. I first came across the brand on CR fashion and thought ” Oh that’s dope, I like it,” but I couldn’t find anyone who carried Off-White. Fast-forward a few months ago, I walked through the men’s collection at Barney’s NY and saw some Off-White jeans, I was hooked, but they were sold out of my size. The founder of Off-White, Virgil Abloh, stated that his creations are intended to be unisex, and I am a sucker for anything unisex. I looked everywhere but could never find that perfect piece until I saw these white Off-White distressed denim shorts, which happened to fit me.

The coolest-kid-on-the-block does not even start to describe Off-White, it’s kooler! Sometimes women just want to feel powerful in men’s clothing, be comfortable and look chic, all the boxes that Off-White checks. Don’t believe me? Did you see the new Beyonce and Nicki Minaj ‘feeling myself’ video? Beyonce sports the Off-White leaf-print anorak in the video. The list of celebrities sporting Off-White is endless with the likes of Kanye, Rihanna, Drake, Jay Z, Kylie Jenner etc. The line is now more widely available and you can find Off-White at Ssense and even watch the creative director’s exclusive collaboration there including a video.

We shot this look a few weeks ago when it was extremely windy and honestly the biggest struggle on that day was to not lose clothing to gusty winds. I wanted to dress up the jeans for a dinner that night, so I wore my trusty Céline jacket and bag, Saint Laurent Heels and a spaghetti strap Club Monaco top.
