Meet my most-coveted Dolce & Gabbana Closed-toe slip-ons, with romantic red roses embroidery. Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2015 show celebrated motherhood and mothers, you know that woman who you should always remember to call even when life gets hectic. There was something about the “la mamma” theme that stuck with me, maybe it was the romantic embroideries that D&G excels in or if it was the models walking the runway carrying babies. The message was clear; it’s all about mums. The whole show gave me a fuzzy feeling. So when I saw these Dolce and Gabbana shoes at Saks with the same pretty roses that were on the runway, I was sold, sold, sold. Well besides the ‘fuzzy feeling,’ it’s a comfortable well constructed shoe.

The shoes have a practical heel, and the sheer sock-like fabric is light enough to wear in the summer. As for the rest of the outfit, the question should be why I wasn’t in a bikini. It was as hot and humid as you can imagine (think about the hottest most humid day you’ve experienced, yup that was it). I picked this Céline button-down tunic with a pair of Urban Outfitters linen shorts. I am not one to shy from accessories that have instant impact, positive or otherwise, so it will be fun styling different looks with these heels. It was a fun shoot despite sweating buckets, it was my first time shooting with Kevain and was pleased with the results, watch out street style photographers, he’s coming for you.

Hope everyone is having a good week.

xoxo,

Liz Lizo
