Yesterday morning, Liz, Jacqy and I hopped into our Uber and headed over to Lincoln Center to attend the Georgine show at New York Fashion Week.
If I could describe this show in one word, it would be fur– so much fur! Everyone in the audience would gasp in awe each time a model strutted down the runway in a fabulous fur coat. From deep purple to rich red, Georgine had fur coats and stoles in every fall hue. My favorite piece had to be this stunning green coat. It’s a must-have statement piece. All the models donned curly fros on the runway, which I thought was a nice touch.

Aside from the lovely collection, the show was exciting because I kept glancing at the star-studded front row. A few of the faces I noticed were Miss J Alexander, Kelly Rutherford, and Vanessa Marano. After recovering, from my starstruck stupor, I continued to enjoy the show. I absolutely loved the show. Georgine was channeling lots of 60s inspired vibes and I was just eating it up! I’ve noticed strong influences from the 60s in a number of collections at New York Fashion Week so far.

Thanks for visiting!
