The resurgence of the denim vest almost makes me regret getting rid of my 90s closet, but finding this vest with the perfectly executed rips by Current / Elliott restored my feelings. Surprisingly, I have found a multitude of uses for this vest, here is one: I definitely grossly favor dresses during summer, there is something freeing about dresses in hot humid climate. The problem is I don’t have enough casual-washer-friendly dresses to carry me through a week, my love for dresses is completely disproportionate to the number I own. What’s a girl to do? I just pick my favorite dressier print dress, say something like the pictured one by Peter Pilotto, and dress it down with the aforementioned denim vest. As much as I want to say “Voila!” I don’t have to, instead, I smile contently at my reflection.
