Missoni for Target

When I went to Target in the morning, I tried to avoid the madness and headed straight to the bath section to get the shower curtain. I managed to snag one of the last ones!

Not really a fan of Missoni..not really my style but I do love the brand’s deep family history and the way that is channeled into the marketing materials. Missoni patterns are so original. I did hear that the Target website crashed due to increased web traffic.

I love Missoni but I don’t understand why was everybody so excited about Target for Missoni? Oh well. I like the bike. It’s cool. Wear some plaid with your Missoni raschel knits.

i wanted the black and tan squared-toe pumps but they were all gone by the time i headed over !!

Here’s a good story for you. I was 3 minutes late to Target this morning and everything was already in the hands of 15 or so ladies, all dressed in work-out gear…. some pushing a cart and carrying items in their hands.
I called my friend (who worked on the Target team that designed the line) from the empty women’s section. I was sobbing, telling her I missed out on getting a single item! A nice lady overheard me talking and offered me a scarf. Reluctantly I took it. Next thing I know another lady offered me a cardigan. She said she was just going to sell it on ebay. Then I scored a brown multi infinity scarf, a bra, and some stationary as they were also taken out of carts and put into my hands.
As much as those women looked like animals as they emptied entire racks and put them in their carts. I found out that they were willing to give to others. For that I am thankful.
P.S. I forgot to mention….just before the epic crash…I scored the popular zig zag cardigan that Emma Roberts wore to the pop up store AND an iphone case on line when I got home.
I still want that throw blanket though!
